National Car Market

The national total of car sales in 2006 was recorded in amount of 318,880 units; decreased 40% compared to total sales in 2005 which was 533,922 units. From that total of the sales, it is assumed that 60% of the sales were done by consumer financing or leasing. Considering the increase of total car sales from year to year, U Finance is confident that the business of consumer financing and finance lease especially for automotive, shall be operating very well in the following years.

 

Car Financing

During the year 2006, U Finance had already financed the purchasing of 16,559 units of cars for its consumers by total value around Rp. 1,442 billions. This amount was very much bigger compared to total finance facility given in year 2005 which was approximately Rp. 1,165 billions with total unit of 12,071 units. The improvement of U Finance business increases rapidly since July 2004.
